Washington upsets USC in final seconds

   13           16
Seattle — Without Matt Barkley, USC wouldn’t have the number 3 in the nation slot. That showed this evening.
USC backup quarterback Aaron Corp, a redshirt sophomore making his first career start, was 13 for 22 for 110 yards with one interception against the Huskies in their 13-16 loss [...]

Marshall has trust issues with Broncos

Brandon Marshall has no problem working with the scout team while he plays his way back into Pro Bowl form.
What bugs him is the way the Denver Broncos handled his acquittal on misdemeanor battery charges last week.
Marshall said Wednesday in his first public comments about the matter that he was miffed a [...]

Dungy says Bears should accquire Harrison

Tony Dungy isn’t necessarily saying the Chicago Bears need help at receiver, but if Lovie Smith were to ask Dungy about Marvin Harrison, the endorsement would be strong.
“I think he definitely can play, and I would encourage Lovie to sign him if they had an opening,” Dungy said Wednesday on the [...]

Sanchez going to the draft, an angry Carrol

Quarterback Mark Sanchez declared for the NFL draft, and Pete Carrol wasn’t happy. After a great season in Southern California Carrol suggested he stay. But he passed up probably another Rose Bowl win for a millions with a team in need and attempt a Super Bowl. And Carrol gets mad? It’s a huge opportunity.

My Predictions: NFL confrence champions.

Cardinals and Steelers. That’ll be the Super Bowl game. The Cardinals will win because of a great defensive line and run defense to go along with a Pro Bowl QB in Kurt Warner and Pro Bowl WR Larry Fitzgerald. WR Anquan Boldin will not 100% according to Arizona officials, but will play.

The Fighting Illini of Illinois beat those Buckeyes. The first quarter was impresive for both teams. First a bad Cover 2 defense got Ohio State straight down the feild. Rams to stick with Frerotte at QB, Bulger to return on October 21 v.s Seattle.

Even though Gus Frerotte threw three interceptions he will stay the starting Quarterback. Mark Bulger will not play because of two cracked ribs. Gus Frerotte has a tough challenge of his first starting job since 2005. The Rams are the worst team in the NFL in my opinon.

Bears have four inactive people in the secondary

Bears Linebacker Lance Briggs, Bears Cornerbacks Nathan Vasher,Charles Tillman, Bears Safety Adam Archuleta are all inactive this Sunday. They are very important and Bears Coach Lovie Smith was very surprised that all this happened last week against the Cowboys. Detroit Lions Wide Receiver Calvin Johnson will be out also because of his back.
