Eddy Curry’s Chicago mansion under foreclosure

Eddy Curry

Court records show that former Chicago Bulls center Eddy Curry’s Chicago suburban mansion is under foreclosure.

He was also robbed and bound in that home in 2007. He is now a center for the New York Knicks. But he will probably lose his starting spot to center Darko Millic, who was traded to New York from the Memphis Grizzlies for forward Quintin Richardson and cash considerations. He also has heart problems.

Documents show that Eddy was behind more than $217,000 on his $3.7 million mortgage on Friday. Reports reviewed by the Chicago Sun-Times showed that Eddy and his wife, Patrice, took out a 30 year mortgage to buy a home in July 2003. Eddy’s monthly payment was $28,675.

Eddy’s attorneys did not return any calls that asked for comment Tuesday.
