Illinois pulled away at the end with two touchdowns at the beginning of the fourth quarter against the lazy Syracuse defensive line. Illinois most common ran play today was the Option Rush. Syracuse fell right into it each play. Syracuse had good pass defense along with terrible throwing by Isiah (Juice)Williams . Quarterback Illinois Isiah (Juice) Williams threw for 97 yards on 13/18 attempts and a touchdown pass to Jeff Cumberland, Juice also had 12 rushing attempts for 91 yards and one 10 yard touchdown . Rashard Mendanhall had a great game with 150 yards on 16 carries and 3 touchdowns and an average run of 9.4 yards. Troy Pollard ran for 95 yards on 13 carries for an average run of 7.3 yards. For Syracuse there Quarterback Andrew Robinson had a great game throwing for 207 yards on 17/26 attempts and an average throw of 8 yards. I got this prediction right. Illinois goes to 2-1 and Syracuse falls to 0-3. Syracuse has a big game coming up at Louisville and Illinois to Indiana. Good luck Syracuse.
