Phoenix Suns center Shaquille O’neal to the Cleveland Cavilers talks have begun again. Even after the Suns declined an earlier trade for Sasha Pavlovic and Ben Wallace.

   The Suns and Cavilers are in the preliminary stages of the trade at the moment.

   Shaq is a 4 time champ (3 with the Los Angeles Lakers, 1 with the Miami Heat). He has 2 losses also ( 1 with the Lakers against the Detroit Pistons in ’04, and 1 with the Orlando Magic against the Houston Rockets in ’95). He has 3 NBA Finals MVP’s and 1 regular season MVP. He has been on 4 different teams ( Magic, Lakers, Heat, and Suns) and helped win gold for the United States in 1996 in Atlanta. He holds the NCAA record for blocks in a game (17). But he is old, at 37 years of age.

   He is a veteran star that would compliment MVP LeBron James nicely in Cleveland. LeBron is a scorer though, and Shaq will need to take his sidekick role like he did with Kobe Bryant for the Lakers, and Dwyane Wade for the Heat. I think it will benefit both teams greatly.
